One of our finest methods of decoration, Marquetry has its roots as an art form in the Renaissance. It is a technique in which small pieces of veneer are cut and glued into place to form an artwork.
More about our Marquetry processPrecision laser engraving adds depth to our fine wood boxes. First developed in the 1980s, laser engraving on wood employs a coherent beam of light to vaporize the wood and then turns it a dark brown color.
More about our Laser Engraved processInlay is created by cutting pieces of wood and gluing them together in patterns. After this patterned block has been constructed, it is cut again and reglued. This may be done two or three times depending on the desired results. It is then sliced into thin strips.
